INDAR to team up with Dutch Bakker Repair + Services worldwide for maritime customers

Spanish company INDAR, world leader in rotating electrical machines, will deploy Dutch company Bakker Repair + Services for the worldwide repair and maintenance of electric motors, generators and submersible motors of its maritime customers. Both companies have signed a collaboration agreement to partner up in servicing.

Technicians of the Sliedrecht based company will travel all over the world; where-ever maritime users of INDAR require service on their rotating electrical equipment. Bakker Repair + Services can offer maintenance services, diagnosis, inspections and technical assistance services to INDAR customers. Bakker Repair + Services can rely on INDAR to provide additional knowledge and expertise on request. INDAR will also supply the required spare parts when needed.

Indar, established in 1940, is a leading global electrical rotating machine manufacturer. Indar, with a strong footprint in different sectors such as wind power, hydro power, power plants, oil&gas and water, has a decades-long experience in the maritime market, offering advanced propulsion motors, generators and submersible machines.

Bakker Repair + Services have over 40 years of experience in worldwide repairs and maintenance of electric motors, generators and transformers.

Both companies have been cooperating since 1975. Until now Bakker Repair + Services maintains, repairs and services an extended fleet of Indar machines all over the world.

The agreement was signed on 4th July 2018 at INDAR by Bakker Repair + Services General Manager Mr. Remko Hitzert and by Jagoba Mardaras, INDAR Marine, Industry and Cogeneration business unit Director.
