Bakker Repair + Services has taken care of the major maintenance on the cooling fans of the Kyoto Cooling system from Bytesnet Datacenter Rotterdam.
These cooling fans are used to distribute cool air into the data room of Bytesnet.
After being operational for seven years, the motors’ bearings were replaced as a preventive action. To ensure the reliability of the cooling system, only one fan was taken out of production each day. The newly placed bearings have a life time of 10 years, ensuring the continuity of the cooling installation for the coming years.
